Federica Alice Carlino was born on January 23rd 1991, Milan, Italy, daughter of Sandra (Burlizzi) and Angelo Carlino. Because of her father's job, Federica and her family were constantly moving. She grew up in Leeuwarden, Netherland and came back to Italy at 6. She showed interest in movies when she was very little, she started to write when she was 9. Her mom borrowed her, her camera the next year and she understood that, that was her path. She attended elementary and middle school in Italy then her family moved again, this time in Richmond, UK where she attended The Richmond Upon Thames College. She attended a linguistic high school in Milan, then she attended Mohole filmmaking school where she obtain different degrees in Filmmaking, Photography (still and fashion) and make up. She then spent some time in France with her parents where she shoot Who's Lilith?. She moved to Rome to attend the Fantastic Forge Academy, she learned prosthetic and special FX make up from Sergio Stivaletti. She directed wrote and produced some internet series and attended the international section at the Rock and Shock Festival in Worcester, MA. In 2015 she started a web series/ tv series called The Rise Of The Villains, it was pretty successful and it's still in the process. Federica moved to LA, California in 2016. She graduated from the New York Film Academy in 2020. As a result of her studies she wrote and directed The Monster's Club, a short drama, as a pilot proof of concept for a future TV series. The short is doing well in festivals at the moment. Once in LA she discovered her love for the castings process, which is now developing as a profession along to her love f.
