Becoming a casting director started from a personal need to take care of my own casting process. As the writer of my own films, I always had a clear vision of each character’s appearance, mannerisms, and style of delivery. My approach to casting quickly caught the attention of other directors, who began asking me to run auditions for their projects as well. That’s how casting naturally became another part of my career. I truly enjoy seeing the ink lift off the page as the characters take shape, finally gaining a face, a voice, and a presence we can interact with and build upon.

The dedication I put into every casting call is the same care I would give my own. Casting is one of the most crucial stages of preproduction. Placing your film in an actor’s hands is a major commitment. A thoughtful, well-guided selection process is essential to achieving the best possible result.
Thanks to my background in both directing and acting, I am able to bridge communication between actors and directors, guiding them toward a process that feels collaborative, effective, and grounded in truth. I also organize chemistry reads when needed, creating a safe space to ensure that performances connect and relationships on screen feel authentic. Working closely with Intimacy coordinators and studio teachers for minors.
BIOGRAPHY & EDUCATION
I was born in Milan, Italy, where I began my career with Mediaset TV. From the start, I explored filmmaking, acting, photography, editing, visual effects, and makeup, building a well-rounded foundation that continues to shape my approach as a casting director.
My passion for makeup and character design brought me to Rome, where I trained under Sergio Stivaletti, the legendary prosthetic artist known for his work with Dario Argento.

In 2016, I moved to Los Angeles and earned my BFA from the New York Film Academy. I later trained at the Met Film School in Ealing and Pinewood Studios in the UK, focusing on acting to better understand performance from the inside out. I’ve also taken numerous acting courses in Los Angeles, Italy, and London to deepen this understanding. I have a background as an actor in both theatre and film, which taught me firsthand the emotional demands and creative depth required on set and on stage.

As a casting director, I’ve worked across Italy, the UK, the UAE, and the US, collaborating with filmmakers and production companies to find the right talent and build authentic on-screen relationships. My experience as both a director and actor gives me a deep understanding of what performers need to succeed and how to communicate effectively with them.

I believe that great casting is more than just finding someone who fits a description. It’s about discovering the people who bring a role to life with truth, nuance, and connection.
