What I Bring to the Casting Process
Casting isn’t just about finding someone who fits a role, it’s about creating believable dynamics, emotional continuity, and visual authenticity. While I’ve worked across a wide range of projects, I especially love the challenges that require creative problem-solving, like finding lookalikes when identical twins aren’t available, or casting characters at different ages across timelines in a way that feels natural and emotionally resonant. Finding actors who genuinely look like they could be related, making the family connection feel natural and convincing on screen.
When working on adaptations, I make sure to respect the author’s vision by matching the characters’ looks as closely as possible to the original descriptions.
In addition to traditional casting, I also collaborate with first-time directors to help them connect with their actors and shape compelling chemistry reads. I also review self-tapes, assist with minors, studio teachers, and SAG-AFTRA compliance, and support productions in building strong, relatable ensembles.
Below are some of the projects I had the pleasure to cast, and two of my favorite examples that showcase my work.

THE RISE OF THE VILLAINS
TV SERIES
I wrote and directed the Tv series. I hired the entire cast, according to DC Comics characters and their mannerisms. I worked with minors and handled my own casting sessions, in some occasion camera and acted.
I had more than 28 actors.

ROCK THE BABY TO SLEEP SHORT FILM
supported the casting process by sourcing the full cast, including the infant role. I worked closely with the director to identify the strongest fits for the story, and I also guided and communicated with the child’s parents to ensure the performances remained natural, safe, and emotionally appropriate. This included coordinating techniques to help the baby respond on cue, such as smiling or crying at specific moments, always handled with care and sensitivity.
Working with children is always a unique and rewarding experience. I prioritize maintaining a comfortable environment on set, respecting regulated working hours, and collaborating with experienced studio teachers to ensure the well-being of every child performer.
